Sea Fishing

One of my favourite sea fishing locations is off the far north of Scotland, from a charter boat at Scrabster. At the end of June on one of the day fishing charter trips all the boat did well catching a wide range of species including pollack, cod and a large number of spurdog (which were all returned unharmed).

They were pretty happy that they had caught bigger spurdogs than me!

This was the biggest spurdog caught on the day a 13Ib fish
